Join the Summer Symphony - Registration is now being accepted for musicians of all ages who would like to join the 2016 NJWA Summer Symphony.  Additional information and a registration form are available  on the Summer Symphony page under NJWA Ensembles.
Rock Performance Workshop Summer Session -The summer session of the Rock Performance Workshop begins on June 25 for either a 5 week or 10 week session, and on August 6 for a 5 week session. For more information, click on the RPW page under Programs.
Performance at 16 Prospect - Music Studio instructor Efrat Shapira will perform at 16 Prospect Wine Bar and Bistro, Westfield,  on Tuesday, July 11, along with  Arturo Artifacts and Chris Bauer.  Come enjoy the music  from 7:30  to 9:30 pm
Country Covers in the Round – You'll have another opportunity to hear Efrat Shapira, along with Abbie Gardner, Jesse Terry and Paul Sachs, at the Woodbridge Arts Country Sundays Concert on July 24.  The program will begin at 6:00 pm at Parker Press Park at 401 Rahway Avenue in Woodbridge.  This concert is free, open to the public and appropriate for all ages. 
Local Concerts Feature Dr. Schlosberg - Dr. Ted Schlosberg will be a French Horn soloist at two upcoming concerts.  On Monday, July 18, he will perform with the Union Municipal Band at 7:45 pm at Erhart Gardens, 100 Francis Court in Union.  He will also perform with the Chatham Community Band  for their 31st. Season Finale on Tuesday,July 19 at 7:00 pm at Clipper Pavilion, South Mountain Recreation Area Waterfront in West Orange, playing 1st. French Horn.
Glen Fabisevich Joins Music Studio Staff - Piano instructor Glen Fabisevich has joined the staff of the NJWA Music Studio.  Please click on Staff to read his biography.
Channel 62's On the Road Features NJWA -  News 12 New Jersey's On the Road visited downtown Westfield on August 15. Louis Armstrong Award - Dr. Ted Schlosberg presented the Louis Armstrong Award for outstanding accomplishments in jazz performance on trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn and bass trumpet to Florian Schantz of the Florian Schantz Jazz Combo. The presentation took place before a sell-out crowd at the NJWA Gala Celebration and Dinner at Shanghai Jazz in Madison.
