This string orchestra program is intended for players throughout New Jersey from pre-school to adult. All students who play a string instrument, and beginners who would like to learn to play, are invited to join the NJWA Orchestra Academy.

Three orchestras,  Beginning, Elementary and Intermediate-Advanced, are offered to students who play the violin, viola, cello or string bass.  An interview is planned for each player  in order to ensure proper placement. Rehearsals will be held on Saturday afternoons.  Parents are encouraged to join their child and play the same string instrument.

A  small tuition fee covers all materials needed for the program. Concerts are held throughout the year.
