Travel around the world with art music, and drama. Children will “travel” to France, Ghana, Israel, Japan and Mexico hearing, playing and singing their music. They will also do an art project that is typical to the area.
They will be introduced “hands on” to the different families of instruments and the quarter, half and whole notes.
Calder, Carle, Mondrian, Pollack and Van Gogh will become the inspirations of some of their art work during the 10 week program.
Icebreaker games to encourage the children to know each other and miming let them use their imaginations.
It is a non-stop morning of art, music and drama in a fun-filled atmosphere.
