In Violin Magic, adult students will learn the basics of playing this instrument, using an eclectic approach, with methods developed by Dr. Schlosberg over the past 50 years. “ They will learn bow and pizzicato and learn to read music through rhythm and solfeggio,” said Dr. Schlosberg.
Students will learn theory and the fundamentals of all 4 strings in the first position, using a wide range of materials which includes a basic text book, repertoire, duet, rhythm studies, scales and ensemble music.
Dr. Schlosberg has designed a group teaching approach “that will be fun and help people explore their own creative abilities in a friendly atmosphere.”
This group will develop into a string orchestra.
