Did You Know?

The New Jersey Workshop for the Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization serving the greater Westfield area for over 45 years. In addition to its tuition-based educational programs, the NJWA provides valuable services to the community that are funded wholly or in part by grants, fundraisers, and donations. These include:

• The Music Connection – a combination music therapy/education program for kids with special needs
• Scholarships for students in financial need and/or for outstanding student volunteers
• Free concerts given by NJWA’s many ensembles to charity service centers, senior homes, and the general public

In addition, the income provided by our tuition-based programs does not fully cover all of the expenses incurred in keeping an organization like the NJWA functioning.
