Students build right-hand rolls and picking patterns, chord shapes, rhythm, ear training and the drive that makes banjo playing so distinctive.
Music shaped around you
Study can include bluegrass standards, folk songs, clawhammer or three-finger styles and playing with others in jam settings.
Every student receives individual guidance from an experienced NJWA educator. Lessons move at the student’s pace, with goals that may include personal enjoyment, school ensembles, recitals, auditions or advanced study.
